Delta Defiant Prototype

Delta Defiant Prototype

Manufacturer: Delta Archery - Bob Long
Year: 1997

The Delta Defiant was to be a refined version of the autococking platform. Instead of a single four-way valve controlling the cocking action, dual two-way valves were mounted directly to the trigger frame. The ram, rather than being mounted to the front block and traveling outside the gun body, was relocated inside the receiver. The LPR was to be used as a foregrip, and the HPR extended from the valve cap at the front of the gun.

This prototype was never brought to market, being dropped in favor of a rebadged and reworked ICD Bushmaster 2000 design.
