Kodiak

Kodiak

Manufacturer: Prostar Labs
Year: 1990

Story of the Kodiak:

Originally made by a machinist named Rich Breen. Rich was in California making some parts for Budd Orr. Rich originally made the California Cobra hand pistol. Well they didn't sell to well, and Budd helped him out by buying the left over grip frames from Rich. So Budd made the Commando, with those grip frames. then Budd seen that many people would buy a Nelson based gun, and redid the commando into the ranger. After that, Rich moved to Colorado and had a Paintball store, Mile high paintball, where i met him. he sold the rights to the Kodiak to Pro Star labs, and they produced the gun and marketed it. the gun was pretty much a commando, except the barrel threads are not cocker thread, but close enough for some barrels to fit.
