The Shredder took 2 9volt batteries where the standard Revolution took 1. The prop inside that spins is also bigger than the standard. The prop had 4 large paddles to mix up the paint, this was a down fall if you loaded your hopper to full it could strip the gears in the motor.
The shredder also came in Gelatin Printed, they would paint a pattern onto a sheet of gelatin. Lay the gelatin on top of water and the gelatin would devolve leaving the pattern on the surface of the water. They would submerge the part into the water and the pattern would stick to the part.
