Buzzard
Manufacturer: Carter Machine
Year: 1989
The Buzzard is a breech-drop dual armed pump gun made by Earon Carter. They are custom-built and have been made with evolving design changes since the late 1980s.
The Buzzards, like the flagship Carter Comp, have generally been made as high-end stock guns, although constant air and direct feed adapters have always been available by request.
The original Buzzards had a straight-back valve 12 gram quick change, which eventually gave way to a vertical air "VSC" setup. The nelspot/SKORR style single swing trigger eventually gave way to a 1.5 finger trigger frame, based on a DYE cocker hinge design.
The latest generation of Buzzards have dropped the DYE frame in favor of single swings or slide frames, and the new "Mini-Buzzard" no longer has the clamping collar holding the body and stock feed together, instead having the stock feed bolted directly into the stainless body.
