Manufacturer: Brass Eagle
The Nightmare was a pump gun that used a unique stacked tube arrangement. Unlike Sheridan pumps, where the top tube was the barrel and the bottom tube contained the valvetrain, the Nightmare's barrel and valvetrain occupied the lower tube, with the top tube acting as the magazine and air connection. The valvetrain was a Nelson/Sheridan hybrid - the hammer was at the rear of the valvetrain, just like a Sheridan gun. However, since the valvetrain was on the same axis as the barrel, a powertube arrangement was used to channel air through the centerline of the bolt.
