"Icon" was the same company as National Survival Games. The difference was the "Icon" brand were specifically marketed for POLICE and SECURITY training. Bob Gurnsey changed the name, and marketing to disassociate paintball with police training.

The Icon Splatmasters were sold from 85-88 to LEO only. NSG owned the trademark for both "Splatmaster" and "Icon". NSG also sold the .55 version through another brandname "Gurn-Z" as a safer replacement to bb-guns.  >>More
